Help out with our 2012 Summer Programs!
Boys & Girls Club of Lake County will begin its 2012 Summer Program for members ages 6 – 12 at the Genesee Club (724 S. Genesee, Waukegan, IL) and at the Teen Center (730 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive , Waukegan, IL *Directly across the street from the Genesee Club*) for members ages 13 – 18.
When Does Summer Program Start?
The Summer Program will start Monday, June 11 and end Friday, August 10. The program runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm. Extended program hours run Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm.
Who Can Volunteer?
Anyone 18 years of age or older can volunteer once the required paperwork is completed.
What Will Volunteers Do?
BGCLC volunteers will spend quality time interacting with members and kids and assist in a variety of activities including: reading, arts and crafts, photography, computer projects, and sports. Before volunteers can begin, they must complete a volunteer application, background check, and attend a volunteer orientation.
